Rugged terrain with steep, rocky hillsides typifies this forest. The initial 213 acres were a gift from the American Legion. A hiking trail which winds through the forest offers a view of beautiful rock formations as well as of the river valley. Thirty spacious campsites line the East branch of the Farmington River.
